We're Expecting!

So we found out last week by 4 positive pregnancy tests that we are expecting our first baby! We are so excited and also a little shocked! :-) Anyway, we went for our appointment at Fort Detrick yesterday and the only thing they really did was take blood and give us an authorization to go off base and an order for an ultrasound. My first official appointment is next week on Wednesday, the 2nd. We were thinking that I was about 11 weeks along but it turns out that I am only about 6 weeks and 3 days or so. We found that out from the ultrasound today. We were hoping to see that heartbeat but no such luck. So, we'll be going back in about 10 days for another ultrasound. I was pretty bummed when we left the imaging center because I was desperately hoping to see the heartbeat. Oh well! Hopefully next time.

On another note, I'm feeling pretty good so far. I'm just extremely tired, get pretty nauseous, and just feel like crying sometimes. Like right now, I just feel like a nice cry would make me feel better but it's not happening! Oh yeah, and I am SOO annoyed with people up here. They are so rude and act like you are wasting their time. It's freakin' ridiculous ....

Alright, well I think it's time for me to take a nap ... even though it's almost 5:00 here. I'm just so tired!
